Many people are still obsessed with Page Rank that is displayed in Google’s toolbar. It’s pointless to focus on that. Recently, Google made some official statements saying that you should focus on other things than Page Rank.
I get asked all the time about Page Rank here is a link that will explain the importance of Google Page Rank and the changes over the years.

Page Rank may have been important in 1998 when Google was established. Page Rank is no longer the an important factor in Page Rank for Google or any
other search engine.
The PR you see publicly is different from the one Google uses in their algorithm. Why bother waisting anymore time thinking about a factor that may have mattered 10 years ago and is so irrelevant now it could actually hurt you if you focus on that. Google doesn’t publicly update the Page Rank they use in determining your actual Search Listing Position.
Things you should focus on rather than Page Rank
Your websites conversion rate: The percentage of visitors toyour website who convert, either they fill out a form or buy something, place an order….that type of thing.
Bounce rate: The search engines monitor how many visitors leave your website from the page they entered so you really want a strong call to action to keep visitors clicking through your website.
Click through rate: Search engines also measure how many times your website has been displayed on the google and how many times your website was actually clicked on.
These are just a few examples. There are many things that you can do to get better results with your search engine listings. I believe there are over 200 different factors that Google combines together to determine a websites overall positioning in the search listings.
